Setting goals helps me articulate what I want to explore. It focuses my attention by holding myself accountable.

  • Mission possible is unlike the bucket-list approach of “checking off boxes”.

  • Obviously there are huge benefits to raising one’s expectations and forming lasting memories. But for me, a bucket list legitimises the diminished value of repeated exposure to art & culture. Rather, it privileges a restless consumption, a hungry appetite for the new. “I’ve skydived. Next?”

  • Instead then, my goals range from the mundane to the extreme - constantly evolving with my character. Some of which I’ve already completed, all of which I will achieve.
