Qwiklabs is an online platform which provides end-to-end training in Cloud services.

• To enforce my learning and dive deeper into the concepts, I have to get my hands dirty, fire-up some real resources and begin building in the Cloud.

• I have gained some invaluable experience in terms of:
  - Security & Identity Access Management
  - Serverless
  -Compute & Networking
  - Database Services
  - Data Warehousing
  - Storage
  - And much more.

I now feel a lot more comfortable with AWS having gained some real experience in the cloud.

• Labs are short learning activities that teach me a specific lesson by giving me direct, temporary, hands-on access to real cloud resources.

• Courses are longer activities, consisting of several modules made up of videos, documents, hands-on labs and quizzes

• Quests are similar, but usually shorter and only containing labs

In October 2022, Google acquired Qwiklabs in order to expand its own training tools to help people get up to speed on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and G Suite productivity service.

As a result, the library of learning labs aimed at Amazon Web Services have been retired. Since it no longer offers any training modules for AWS, I have stopped buying credits with Qwiklabs.

Instead, I now study through AWS’s own platform - Skillsbuilder.
